Whitsunday Escape is officially back in business, and all future charters are going ahead as planned. We would like to say a big thank you to all our customers who have been so understanding and supportive of us during this difficult time. It was a difficult few weeks, and here are some of the hurdles we have had to deal with during and after the cyclone.

Olympic sailing medals for Australia

Cousins from Sydney, Lisa Darmanin and Jason Waterhouse, came within an inch of winning a sailing gold medal, after one win and two disastrous heats. They finished one point behind the gold medal-winning sailors from Argentina after going into the sailing final in 4th position.
